Jan 2021 newsletter

As the new year starts, we once again find ourselves closed due to lockdown. It is so heart breaking for all, especially after a great start back in Sept 2020. However, we have to keep going and we have a mix of both filmed and zoom classes to keep our pupils dancing at home.

Planning ahead for IDTA exams in ballet, tap and modern jazz in the coming months, when things hopefully settle. This will give everyone something to aim for and bring earned achievements during these difficult weeks.

Following our successful video performances on Halloween and at Christmas, we will continue this tradition, which allows parents to see what the dancers are doing in class whilst we cannot offer audience performances.

New classes were planned to start this month, which will go ahead as soon as we return:

Tuesdays

Mini gymnastics

reception and year 1 - 4.15-5pm

preschool age 2.5 - 4 - 5 - 5.45pm (parent and child class)

Thursdays

Boys street dance with Rob Jones

open class for boys - 5.30-6.15pm

Adult Classes

Wednesdays

Currently we have the following on zoom

Clubbercise - 7 - 7.45pm

Musical Theatre with Rob Jones - 7.45-8.30pm

please message Miss Joanne for more details

Singing lessons with Mr Sean Boyes

Sean will be joining us on Saturdays as well as Fridays once we return to face to face classes, he will be offering small musical theatre group lessons, private and small group private lessons. These can be to examination level, for confidence building or fun.

Let me know if you want to book a time slot.
